I’ve been wanting a tri-color skirt for a while now, so you can imagine how pleased I was to pick one up in Seattle a few weeks ago. I wore this same outfit to my dance class’s Graduation Dance a while back. It twirls about like a treat! This is something very important for all ladies to remember: The more your skirt twirls the more you will be twirled by your partner on the dance floor. It’s like a law of physics or something. I’m sure Newton would agree.

Really though, we don’t know what to do with ourselves on Tuesday nights anymore, now that the class is done. Guess we’ll have to make it out to real dance floors more often to stay in practice, which is all very well for the weekend, but mid-week is not  a bustling time downtown. So yesterday, we went out to Beck Lake and were surprised by not only far-more-sun-than-expected, but also this cute little swing! Swinging isn’t quite twirling but you take what fun you can get…

What I wore: Cami: Gap, Skirt: H&M, shrug: Ruche, shoes: Famous Footwear, Leggings: Target, Necklace: Stiched and Adorned
