What I wore: Shirt (Questhaven), tank top (Forever 21), jean Shorts (old), necklace (DEB's), Shoes (Famous Footwear)

The days have been awfully lazy here in the summer heat (I'm sure you're all no strangers to summer heat). Tourism over in Cody has been picking up though. I like to drive down the main drag just to hear all the people out on the patios or walking down the street, the way they talk and laugh. There's music too, on the weekends and in the evenings. Its so different from the ghost town feel 5:30 brings to the streets the rest of the year.

Though you can't tell, I'm standing in front of a teepee, one of the many tourist attractions. Its from the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. Oooh, a parking lot decoration- exotic! It was fun through to poke around. Maybe you never get over that childhood thrill of loving tents and forts and things you can go into? Afterwards we went home and made s'mores, even if this outfit had to be sacrificed to the smell of smoke!

  8. That teepee thing looks very interesting! I wish I could have one in my backyard (I wish I had a backyard first). I'm back in San Francisco where it's an odd 60 degrees here. It seems everywhere else is burning up!
