Month Review: Best of September

Monday, October 1, 2012

There's no denying September's been a month of heady changes- both in the seasons, and here on Never Fully Dressed (Without a Style)! In case you missed out, here's some of the best NFD had to offer this month:

Adventure

The days can go by fast, but we took it slow to enjoy an An Autumn Picnic.

Picnic2Collage

On the blog, I took on an adventure of a different kind, starting a new series that will appear semi-regularly: Hair How-tos. This month we showed you how to do Bardot's "Choucroute" HairLooped Braids and even a Five-Strand Braid!

Mail

After starting a project to mail 30 Letters in 30 Days, I did an all-call, asking if any readers wanted a letter in the post. If you missed out, and still want a letter, feel free to join the fun!

Movies

Snuggling up and watching a movie under the stars is a perfect way to enjoy the autumn evenings. That's just what we did this September! We're planning another outdoor movie night for October and you can too. Here's a quick how-to guide.

Need some film suggestions? Why not try It Happened One Night, The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, or Sullivan's Travels?

What I Wore

September was a a love affair with hats- especially one in particular that both of my favorite September outfits  included.  For the left-hand look, I Borrowed from the Boys for a Twitter-based style challenge, and in the right-hand look,  showed off What I Wore: For the Rugged Road, while contemplating the life changes going on in my life.

Best Outfits of September

October's already arrived; fall's fully come too, and I couldn't be more excited. This next month will be filled with its own fun and surprises, I'm sure. Good-bye September and Happy October, all!

  11. YOu are so adorable! I loved seeing this little synopsis of Sept. since I'm a new reader & esp love the picture of you & your guy at the picnic, you look like adorable little teenagers! And thank you for all your super sweet comments too, I am still remembering the sweet "hourglass" figure one when I'm feeling frummpy haha. Oh, and it was my birthday, thank you!! BTW I remember that post said you'd left your full-time job, will you change professions? sounds like your autum is off to a great start!
