Love (In Paris)

Paris is the City of Love, so it only seems natural to honeymoon, there right? The Boy (My Husband!) had his camera along, so don't worry; real pictures were taken too. From the artworks in the Louvre, to strolling along the Seine, from the broad boulevards of the Champ-Elysee to the quirky storefronts in Montmare, here  are some of the snapshots of our time in France, carrying some of the romance back with us to quiet Wyoming.

    1. This lock bridge did have a ton of neat locks, but this locks on a bridge thing seems fairly common. A lot of towns and cities in Europe seem to have them... so maybe you will get to visit one. Maybe they do this in Cape Town too?!

Glad to hear you are settling in well too, by the way.

  3. Wow, these shots are stunning. I especially like the photos of the Eiffel Tower, it always looks magical in photos! Isn't that fun to call him your husband?! That was one of my most favorite things after our wedding too. I can't wait to see more photos and best of luck to you two settling in your first weeks as husband and wife! Such a sweet time :)

    1. I maaaay have been campaigning to move to Paris while we were there. Oh, so pretty and such good food and walking everywhere!

I'm sure living there you experience the same issues and annoyances as anywhere, but it was so lovely. Can't wait to show you more :)

    1. Thanks Lettia; I certianly feel lucky to have visited there!

The style collective is a blog called Flock Together. I and several other girls take turns blogging there. We borrow clothing items from one another and then most of our posts are showing the different ways we wear the borrowed items. It is a lot of fun and all the girls are super-sweet. Check out the blog and see if you like it :D

PS The link is on the button on my sidebar.

  14. hurrah i absolutely cannot wait to see more!! I loved your updates throughout the trip, wohooo for 2013 right & smartphones that work abroad right!? I remember when I first went abroad buying those little international calling cards and such, but then I realized Skype existed of course. Love that you put all these together here, fun to see it all at once and get a little "insta-recap" of your beautiful honeymoon! glad you had an amazing time!

    1. The phone part we disabled, because it cost a lot, but I love that smartphone are just tiny computers to take with, lol.

Yeah, when I was in Prague Skype was my best friend; though with the time difference you still had to plan out so much at least one could call!
