What I Wore: Owl Sweater (Gift; K-Mart); Shirt (Popbasic; Similar Here), Jeans (Gap), Shoes (Old Navy), Coat (Etsy; Similar Here), Pearls (Old; Similar Here), Mink (Vintage; Similar Here)

Oh, man. You see the length's I have to go to for titles here? I'm resorting to first grader humor. Actually, the amount of red-ness was not quite intentional. By the time I needed my gloves (a gift from my father. Told you he had good taste), I'd forgotten what shoes I'd put on. So, I either look entirely stylish or a little like a Disney cartoon character. Can't decide.

Comically matching or not though, I love this outfit. After all, who doesn't love owls? They have necks that turn 270 degrees and they make for darn cute prints on sweaters! That's the definition of cool. The sweater was also a gift- this time from my dear friend Shannon (whom you will have a chance to get to know a bit better later this month), so it reminds me of the good times we've had over our holiday break. That, to me, was the best gift of all- the time we got to spend with so many loved ones. We were forever over at my parent's house, or the in-law's house, or friend's houses or they were at ours. There was much laughter, food, photo taking (perils of a house full of photographers), puppy-cuddling, and even game-playing (I am a nut for cards and games, but never have the people are to forc-... ahem, gather about to play with).

I hope your holidays was just as wonderfully full of loved ones, and that your new year will be too. So spill, and tell me all about the games and people you've enjoyed these past few weeks!

    1. Oh, the title is a play on words with red vs. read. The old joke asks "What is black and white and red/read all over" the answer being "a newspaper" because of the black ink on white paper and it is red.

Yeah. It is a bad joke.

  6. I'm a sucker for any sort of animal print/pattern/motif in a garment, so I love the sweater! I think it is your necklace that makes it look extra special. :) I think you can slightly resemble a disney cartoon character and still be stylish; adorable pops of red, miss.

  10. Don't worry, Disney characters have white gloves. With buttons! (Which actually could be cute in real life.)
I love the red gloves anyway :)

  11. I really like how you paired the red gloves with the flats! The little accents of colour really make the rest of your outfit pop!

Hope you had an amazing holiday this winter, Kristian!
