There is really just something about how polka dots and stripes just seem to fit together. Almost like how a color combo or red, white and black go together. Perfect on their own and perfect together.
Popbasic wants to help women build their wardrobe with a mix of "basic" or staple items that one always needs- a grey dress, a button up shirt- and "pop" or on-trend items- a pair of costume jewelry earrings or statement necklace perhaps. Each micro collection tells a story, or shares a mood, and all the items, of course, can be paired together or work on their own. Doing this project, what we discovered was, all of Popbasic's items work not only with their own collections but mix together well for a cohesive (but not too matchy-matchy) feel. Both of our outfits sport at items from at least three different collections. When picking out what to wear, we'd had all our Popbasic goodies sprawled out on my bed, and the other thing I'd noticed, was what good quality everything was. I mean, I was already a fan of the company, but there were several collections I hadn't gotten, usually because I wasn't totally in love with an item. There are a few micro collections I now wish had been purchased; the items look even better in real life than but enjoyed getting to see and play with nonetheless (Thanks Shannon!) Definitely something to keep in mind as future boxes come out...
On the bright side, it looks like a few items will be making their own appearances in either some sort of permeant line or in up-coming boxes. So keep those eyes peeled.
