Despite being the oldest o the trio of actresses, Betty Grable still wowed in stunning New Look ensembles as model Loco. Perhaps my favorite from Loco's scrumptious closet is this first outfit of imperial blue- and a touch of bright pink peeking out every now and then! The glamour is really in the details- the colors but also the accessories. Worn with some sass and you'll be reeling in the millionaires too.
Some might mistake Marilyn Monroe for a ditzy blonde, but she wasn't, and she didn't play one in this film either. Her character Pola is a model, but she's also a bookworm. Monroe always sports the more close fitting wiggle dress in this film, and makes the look sexy but classy at the same time by opting for sophisticated colors and coverage on top. Because of this, her style in Millionaires is easy to put a modern spin on, by simply changing the shoes to something hard and edgy like the pair of boots shown below.

You recreated those two looks so perfectly! My favorite one is Marilyn's, I can't get enough of fur snoods this season. And how cute was she in this movie? I loved how she'd sneakily slip her glasses on every now and then. I love these posts :)

Marilyn is such a fun comedienne!
DeleteSo, I've been trying to remember- is fur/faux fur always a big thing in winter or has it been a trend specific to this year? Do you know?
