There was something diabolically sweet in her tones—something of the tingling of glass when struck-which rang through the brains even of us who heard the words addressed to another. As for Arthur, he seemed under a spell; moving his hands from his face, he opened wide his arms.

Idealism never goes out of fashion
I keep meaning to read this!
Reply DeleteOooooooo! I've always wanted to read this! The movie I do have to say was pretty good too (that usually never happens) but I'm sure the book is always better. What a fun read for this spooky upcoming Holiday!
