What I wore: Jeans- the Gap, Shoes- Famous Footwear, Belt- Ruche, Shirt- Anthropologie, Necklaces- DEB's and Esty
As a kid I had a strange idea. While, I was a kid, so that's a given. Its part of what makes kids delightful (if incomprehensible at times). But this idea was that there must be some sort of unspoken agreement among adult women to choose an animal to collect. That way people would know what to buy them for Christmas and birthdays and such. You know what I mean- cows, frogs, chickens and that like. All have a mysterious habit of getting clocks, figurines and what-nots in their likeness.
I'd thought I'd grown up to escape that rule. (Or rather, that the rule did not, in fact, exist). But lately I find owls popping into my life at an accelerating rate. Like these necklaces. Not sure what brought it about. Now, don't go out and start stalking up on Owl clocks ( Yes, I'm talking to you. You know who you are), but I really do love these owl necklaces.
They fit too, with the surroundings- another abandoned house. Owls, and exploring. Not quite going together like salt and pepper, but close enough, right?
Haha too funny! I've always received frogs and leopards. Go figure! Love the moodiness of these photos! Such a cool setting and the yellow really pops against the neutral tones of the background. Great outfit too!
