What I Wore: Shirt (New York and Company), Blazer (H&M), skirt ( actually a dress; Target), leggings (gift), leggings and belt(Vintage), boots (gift), bow (DIY)
What I love about this outfit is it's something new...without anything being new. We all have our styles, things that we love, but sometimes we can get stuck in a rut. I love big, full skirts and necklaces- all the better to go dancing in, right? But I think I overlook the pencil/mini skirt a bit, and a bow? What? But both the tighter skirt and the bow give a fun polished to the outfit, an almost boyish (or at least equestrian, I am still in a skirt) look. Still very me- it is after all, all stuff that was already in my closet-, but something a little different, right?
Oh, fashion. How fun it is to experiment with you!

This IS very equestrian, I love it! That jacket is so fabulous with the elbow patches and the construction of it. So cool. I adore your boots too-so versatile!
Reply Deletegoodness i love that jacket. this is a really nice outfit on you - and i think i get stuck in 'grooves' rather than ruts but i get what you mean ;D

I feel like I should be in grooves more often, my style is usually all over the place and not "defined". I think you look great, I love the tie.
Reply DeleteIt is always fun to try new things, especially to get out of a fashion rut. I really like the curved shape to your jacket.

Love this cute look! The blazer is amazing, but I think I've told you that before :) I have a smiliar one, but mine is not as tailored as yours. It's bulky and messy when I wear it, so I barely ever pull it out. A shame really! x
Reply DeletePerfect for autumn, I really love this blazer, I've a similar blazer from H&M in my closet (but without this gorgeous burgundy inner lining) and I wore it recently - after it hasn't left my closet for about a year, and it felt totally "new" without being really "new", I love finding new combinations with my own things and remixing them to totally new looks.
Reply DeleteAnd the bow detail is so cute!
