What I Wore: Kimono Jacket (via Flock Together; Similar Here), Shirt (Similar Here), Jeans (Gap), Belt (Similar Here), Necklace (Similar Here), Shoes (Old Navy)

Not sure what it is about Spring, but it often feels like you're stuck in a waiting game- waiting for more warmth (even if it is warm, you are always waiting for just a little bit more), waiting for budding flowers, for sunshine, for... the end of things so new ones can begin, it seems some days...Or maybe that's just working in a school where you can see the end of one year start to wrap up.

But there are so many lovely things about the days, that I have to remind myself. The sunshine in evenings for walking the dog. That first sip of the morning's tea. The local movie club bringing in a movie I wanted to watch. A really good book and the possibility you might want to read it outside. Borrowing this kimono jacket from Erica. What small things are you enjoying these days?

  7. This post was so lovely, it put a smile on my face. It finally got to "no jacket weather" here in Chicago and I literally can't stop myself from exclaiming "it's so nice out!" every time I walk out the front door, haha. And you look amazing in that kimono, it really suits you!

  8. I adore this kimono jacket! The colours are fantastic.

Today is the first day this year that I was happy to be outside. Sunshine and warmer temperatures that made walking the dog a pleasure. Spring really took its time getting here, but boy, it really made me appreciate it that much more.

  9. Duuuude, that's so true! Spring totally is a waiting game. Some days it's a little chilly, some days a little too warm. It's just a constant teasing season.

Your floral blazer is absolutely lovely. I appreciate how you perfectly plucked out the red in it with those flats and your belt.

  11. I agree that Spring is like a waiting period, but at least it is a nice one. I am definitely enjoying all of the flowers and trees that are blooming in my neighborhood.

  15. I see a lot of people pulling out the floral kimonos, right now and it's making me want one even though I never thought I would ever wear one. Haha. I just love the way they flow and their varied colors. This looks so comfy!

  17. I'm a bit sad to read that the kimono-jacket was only borrowed and you probably have given it back by now. I love how it looks on you and how you styled it. It looks very cheerful. I spy snow in your photos, so I wish a little bit of our European sunshine your way! xo
