What I Wore: Shirt (Popbasic; Similar Here), Skirt (Hell Bunny), Shoes (Old Navy), Belt (Similar Here), Bracelet (Popbasic; Similar Here)
I have been dreaming of this skirt ever since first seeing it. Do you ever get that way about an item.Oh?
Just me then?
Alright. Well, so be it.
At any rate, I've been beyond excited to wear it. And one of those ways I'd been daydreaming of wearing it is this- paired with my Popbasic blue silk shirt. The rich red, white, and blue remind me of our wedding colors. It's a Hell Bunny piece, which means it's well made though not lined, so it was more of a warm weather item, if you now what I mean.
Over our spring break, we decided to trek down to Laramie, where my alma mater is and where a dear friend lives now. A day trip down to Boulder, Colorado, where they have actual seasons (beyond, you know, winter and road construction seasons, like Wyoming), it seemed like the perfect opportunity. Spring was definitely in the air and everyone was out on the streets of their adorable downtown.
But that's not all we did down in Boulder. As you can see, I'm texting someone in that last photo. To find out who, you'll need to head on over to Flock Together...
Here's a hint so, check it out!
I love any floral print, but especially a rosey floral print. That being said, your skirt is super cute and you look lovely :)
Reply Deleteoh no, I am definitely the same way! whether I own the item or not. and this skirt is beautiful, so your dreams are justified! i really love the silhouette and print. ladylike skirts like this seem much more comfy than a pencil/tighter skirt! sounds like you had a fun adventure over your Spring Break!

While I like pencil skirts too, I agree Circle skirts are very comfy. :)
DeleteThanks!
It is not just you. I obsess about silly clothes things for months. I want to loose this obsession. Do you think they have a Fashion AA? FA?
Reply DeleteThe skirt is gorgeous. Love it with the red lippy and flats too.

Fashion AA lol... well, there's always Polyvore. You can make a dream closet without spending the money.... Or it leaves you wanting the item more, but I suppose you'll know you can remix it by then.
DeleteOr maybe this is all a ploy to see what you will make on Polyvore next!
Thanks Suzanne.
I love this outfit! The colors are so pretty, that skirt is definitely lovely, and you wear it so well.
Reply DeleteOmgosh that skirt! I love it! It's has the type of pattern and color scheme that just commands attention. When I look at it, I just don't see anything else. <3

Before I even saw the photo of you two babes, my first thought when I read that you went to Boulder was, "ooh did she get to meet Hannah?!".
Reply DeleteThat skirt is fantastic. I totally get the same way with clothing I see & love.
Oh wow, so fun you two got to hang out! That skirt is something special indeed, and I'm with ya- I totally have items I can't stop dreaming about :) Well, i'm off to see more of your fun day with Hannah!
Reply DeleteI can see why you've been dreaming about that skirt- it's an absolute stunner! And I love the way you paired it with the blue- it goes so, so well. And how fun that you two got to meet!! I love these photos of the two of you :)
