Whhhaaaattt.... am I doing without glasses on? The glasses are in the logo! Fnally gotten around to collecting the contacts I ordered way back in November, that's what. Oops. I only really wear them when traveling so that I can wear sunglasses to protect my eyes, but I'm digging the new look.
Okay.
Probably not what caught your eye first. It's the blonde hair. I've been jonesing for a change up so when it was time for a haircut, I had them dye it too. Seemed like a wig every time I looked in the mirror this week, but I'm getting use to it and The Boy is a fan (Maybe its really true- Gentlemen Prefer Blondes?). Here's another funny little story about my new life as a blonde. I told someone, now that I am warming up to the color, it made me feel like Jean Harlow. And then they just stared at me. And then I just stared back. For a really long time. Because- you don't know who Jean Harlow is? My classic movie loving heart broke just a little (And if you also don't, don't tell me. You are on your computer. Look it up; you can thank me later.)
As for outfit, another try at a monochrome look for a date night in Red Lodge. Have you done a monochrome look before?
You look SO SO cute Kristian! Love the hair and the all white outfit is perfect!

I like it! Nice with the gold necklace too.
Reply DeleteSUCH a huge change but supper fun! You look great! & I love the big sunnies on you. Do you ever use prescription sunglasses? I only ask because my parents always do and we've been thinking of ordering Jonny some online because he doesn't want to try contacts. Now for and even more odd question - do you find people treat you differently with blonde hair? I used to always dye my hair, for about 5 yrs, and after my hair chop I think it's finally all natural again, although I never really could decide my the answer to my question.
Reply DeleteI don't use perscription glasses, mostly because I lose sunglasses too easily. They sound nice though!
DeleteI haven't noticed anyone treating me differently, though people don't always recognize me... but then, I don't see a ton of people these days since school is out for the summer...
Love the new hair, beautifully done! Love the necklace too :)

yayyy for you! you look great as a blonde, so much that I didn't notice it right away! I am pretty limited when it comes to colors for my hair, so I'm a bit jealous!
Reply Delete♥ perfectly Priya
What a beautiful colour (I love that you've gone with a nice honey-blonde!)! I'm wanting to change up my hair again as well for summer, but not entirely sure yet (oh the maintenance!). :D A dramatic hair change is such a fun way to freshen up your style! It looks fantastic!

you look beautiful! love this monochrome look. Contacts, glasses, sunglasses, I'm thankful for my bad eyesight since it gives me more fashion options :)
Reply DeleteI love your hair! And I've been wearing a lot of monochromatic outfits lately. They are just so easy. :)
Reply DeleteYou are rocking the new look! It's sad that people don't know who Jean Harlow is, but I admit I have maybe seen one movie with her in it.
Reply DeleteYeah, you don't see many of her movies since she was so earlier in the 30s.
DeleteNew hair and contacts? That's so exciting! I love the change, it very much suits you :)
Reply DeleteI LOVE the blonde!!! It's such a soft look!! And paired with the white outfit and gold accessories?? Classic!! Love this new look!!
Reply DeleteWow! Congrats on your lovely new hair! (Really loving the breezy outfit too)!
Reply DeleteI LOVE the blonde on you. It's so elegant and old hollywood with your style. Just perfect...and it really makes that pretty white outfit pop!
Reply Deletehahah i laughed imagining you in this stare off. and you didn't even include a picture without your sunglasses- we'll still never know how you look in just contacts ;)

Oh, you know I didn't even realize I didn't post glasses-less photos till you mentioned it! Oops!
DeleteSo loving the blonde!! It looks great on your skin.
Reply DeleteI freaking love the hair color! Sometimes a girl has just gotta switch it up sometimes. Also, getting contacts... always fun to have your face free every now and then. I opted to get lasik back in the day so that I didn't have to bother with my glasses while I was taking photos (when I was a photographer) now I kinda miss them and went out and bought a pair of faux ones. Ha ha! How silly right? I love the look girlie!

Not so silly. A girl gets attached to her glasses ;)
DeleteMonochrome white! Girl, you know how hard it can be to wear all white like that? You've done it! You've broken fashion!
Reply DeleteNah, but I do love it. And I love your photography you posted alongside it--that mountains cape is absolutely gorgeous!
Great hair!
Reply DeleteSTUNNING post dear :) I hope you had a great summer so far
Reply DeleteCheck out my new post...An AMAZING Swedish summer house :)

Oh wow- I am LOVIN' your new hair color, so fun! What a funny story to go along with it :) I'm digging this monochrome look, perfect for summer. I just thrifted some Old Navy polka dot shorts that I'm pretty excited about :)
Reply DeleteCan't wait to see how they look on you, Lisa!
DeleteThe new colour is perfect. It's always nice to have a bit of fun with your hair :) I used to wear contacts but much prefer glasses. My sunnies all have prescription lenses and that's been really handy too. How are you going with the contacts? On occasion I'll wish I had them with me but for the most part I'm really comfortable and happy with my glasses xoxox
Reply DeleteI'll be honest- I don't wear them often (on a computer frequently which is hard with contacts), so I got the one use/throw away ones to use on trips and such. I've thought of prescription sunglasses, but lose mine sunglasses too easily!
DeleteYou look soooo pretty in that blonde shade!!! Really the new you!
