Snowy Day Outfit Snowy Day Outfit Snowy Day Outfit Snowy Day Outfit Snowy Day Outfit

What I Wore: Shirtdress and Hat (Target), Sweater (H&M), socks (GAP), Boots and Leggings (Old), Belt ( 59th Street via Yesstyle.com)

Last Friday I was wishing everyone a White Christmas; it was in the sixties as I wrote that. Look now! We might just be getting one very white Christmas here. Luckily I'm wearing a few layers here and have my snow boots on for some good explorations. We even tried to have a snowball fight, but the one I made flew apart the minute I threw it and I whined it was too cold to make another (there may even have been a quick dash for the car at this point. That's what I get for making snowballs with more gloves!)

Sadly, winter fantasies like this are likely to turn into real life headaches as we try to navigate the highways, but for the moment, let's just say "Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!"

  1. Aren't you so cold! You don't look it at all - you look adorable and like you aren't affected by the snow around you at all. I love your polka dot dress - so cute

    1. No, I wasn't actually cold while taking the photos at all, oddly enough (well, I wasn't cold until I threw the snowball. No gloves made that bit quite cold. Somehow wet-cold just travels through you!)

      Thanks.

  4. Haha I hate when the snow isn't sticky enough for snowballs! And I'm really hoping we get some snow here in Chicago in time for Christmas, it makes it feel extra special when the whole street is white :) And this is such a cute outfit, I love anything mustard. And love your detail shots! The pearls were a nice touch ;)

  17. this is insane! how are your sleeves pushed up and you don't have a million coats on!? well there must be some skillful layering underneath that i'd love to hear more about, but even so I'd need a huge coat over it all! But you look adorable here, really fun little photoshoot and you always look so pretty in that mustard color!

  20. Eeep! Super cute outfit! I love how you rolled the sleeves so you can see the dress more. The belt over the sweater is a nice touch as well. You need to teach me to layer. Haha.
