What I Wore: Dress ( Chicwish), Tights (Target), Socks (Old; Similar Here), Black Sweater (J.C. Penny; Similar Here), Necklace (Popbasic; Similar Here)

Something about this look just felt, very instantly, Modish. Maybe it's the short skirt, the bold colors and color blocking, or even the way the sweater makes it feel like a dropped waistline. Maybe it's just me and not mod at all. Whatever it was though, I felt swinging in this. The other thing I loved about the outfit was the socks, whose print mimics my header pretty well, don't you think?

And you know, sometimes in the midst of those January Doldrums, a quirky pair of socks and a modish vibe might be what's needed to help pick ourselves back up and continue on with a little more bounce in our step. What are you cures for the winter blues?

  2. This ensemble is great! I love black and red together and those boots are awesome (indeed modish!). That necklace is spectacular too!

  3. Those socks are just so perfectly quirky, I love them! I can definitely see the mod inspiration-I think it's the boots? At any rate, this color combo is always chic and sophisticated.
And it probably is no surprise that my cure for the winter blues (or summer blues, or spring blues...) is lipstick haha.
