What I Wore: Dress (c/o Eshakti), Shoes (Similar Here), Bracelet (Popbasic ; Similar Here ) Shrug (Target), Necklace (Similar Here)
I'd actually been following the company for sometime, so you imagine how delighted I was to be contacted by them. I chose this dress in part for it's color. Pink has been slowly creeping back into my closet this past year (with this bracelet,
shirt and dress), so I thought I'd help that color a long by diving in with a full skirted number. The color is more vibrant than I realized, but lovely and it's solid color will make it very remix-able, I think. Unsurprisingly, given the attention the company gives to this aspect, the dress fits perfectly. it is comfortable but not too loose. It is also sturdily made and has pockets. Why is a dress with pockets so utterly satisfying? It's not even like I put anything in the pockets. I just walked around with my hands tucked into them all day. It's all about those fun details.
Sadly, this dress is not currently in stock, but check out the site as they have many gorgeous items. Have you tried the company's items before? Or would you now?
lovely lovely!! beautiful color, wonderful photos, and love your poses!
Reply DeleteI love their dresses! I borrowed one of Hannah's and it was so well made! Love this on you, such a pretty piece for summer.

Gorgeous dress and great review. I literally almost said the exact same thing in my review about the pockets! It's such a great feature and always on my pro list, but just because I like the fact that they're there -- not that I really use them. Such a great color on you, too.

Haha! Ironically, The Boy is always talking about how useful his pockets are...maybe we should use them after all!
DeleteI have to admit, that I ould never wear powder pink, especially not together with black, but this look is really sweet...well, perhaps it's just you, who makes this color combination work. ^^
Reply DeleteAs for Eshakti, I really like their stuff, but I simply can't afford to order from them due to the immense shipping fees...:/
Oh thank you! The color scheme is a little Pink Ladies from Grease but it works here, I think.
DeleteI do think free shipping is a great advantage and wish they had it. The high shipping fees can add up for sure.
Ooh, this dress is gorgeous, and it looks heavenly on you!
Reply DeleteThanks!
DeleteLove this look on you!! It's so classic, with the light pink and the pearls! You look lovely! And yay to being contacted by Eshakti! Always so exciting when they contact you and not vice versa! :)
Reply DeleteIt is always fun to work with a company, especially one interested in working with you.
DeleteAaah, that dress is absolutely gorgeous on you! The pale pink color is so lovely. Eshakti is awesome. I was contacted by them once and they were super nice, plus their clothes are just fantastic. Glad you got to review and keep such a nice quality item, my sweet! :D
Reply DeleteAh! Did you end up working with them? Link me to any posts you did :)
DeleteThis dress is so pretty, and I love that it has pockets!
Reply DeleteThis outfit post is definitely in my top 5 Kristian outfits! I think you look so pretty in pink, you should definitely add more pieces to your wardrobe. But this dress, I know it's Eshakti but it was so MADE FOR YOU!

Ha, yes, pockets on dresses are the JAM! I get super excited when I realize that a dress I have thrifted has them.
Reply DeleteYour dress from eShakti is absolutely gorgeous - I love that they really seem to feature what I consider "classic" silhouettes and lots of full skirts, my current obsession. That shade is really lovely on you.

Full skirts are definitely my jam too :)

The dress looks perfectly tailored to suit you <3 That's my experience with eShakti. It's the one place that makes me happy to buy a dress (which is CRAZY). There's no substitute for clothing that fits properly. It's just the best feeling. I bought a chambray dress from them last year (a shame that I haven't been able to wear it yet) and it fits like a dream!

DeleteThis dress is so pretty!
Reply DeleteLove the pink! Looks like a nice fit. Knee-length dresses are never knee-length on me. :(
Reply DeleteThen this is definitely a good place to shop for you :) Especially since they do pretty good deals for first time customers. Like, 25 dollars off, I think.
Deletei love your dress. It looks so pretty. :) Irene Wibowo
