These were taken this past weekend, obviously, when I was still in the beautifully gorgeous seventies of a Wyoming spring and not the rain of Seattle. I've no worries though; I'm sure I'll get back just in time for the March snowstorm that always seems to come right when you have to travel. Seriously though, Saturday felt like the beginning of summer and Sunday a warm, fall afternoon; few things could be better.
This park has always felt a bit like the 100 Acre Woods to me, with the little stream that most places is not even deep enough to wet your ankles. I keep expecting That Silly Old Bear to be sitting under some tree, waiting patiently for its child-owner to go pick him up and play Pooh Sticks or something.
